Odia shooter Shriyanka Sadangi won the team silver medal in the 10 meter Air Rifle Junior Women’s category at the ongoing 13th Asian Shooting Championships at Kuwait City on Tuesday.
Shriyanka and the team scored 1228 points. however Iran team scored 1233 points and claimed the gold medal. Korea with 1227.8 finished third.Shriyanka Sadangi and Mampi Das had qualified for the finals finishing at 4th and 7th position respectively. They won the silver medal on the inaugural day of the event.
Recently, Shriyanka won a bronze medal at the Asian Air Gun Championship in September this year at New Delhi.
