Early Life Of Maheswata Ray :
Mahasweta Ray was born in 2nd July 1962 at Puri, Orissa and completed her education from SCS College. She has been the legendary actress in Odia Film Industry and spread her talent not only in the Odia but also in Bengali Film Industry for a long time. Her father Rajkishore Ray was a lecturer and a renowned writer. Mahasweta has acted in many oriya films in the opposite of actors like Uttam Mohanty, Bijay Mohanty, Sriram Panda, Prashant Nanda and many more.
Film Career :
Mahasweta Ray debuted in Odia film “Sesha Sraban” with famous actors like Prasant Nanda and Hemanta Dash. Her acting career is active from the year 1976 to till date. She got many awards for her roles in oriya movies. Presently she is doing some character roles and some tele-serials.
