Midtree cofounder and former chairman Subroto Bagchi has been
selected as head of the state’s Skill
Development Authority by the government of Odisha. Bagchi has decided to take a salary of Rupees 1 per year for this
role of head of Skill
Development Authority of Odisha. Bagchi will be given all the support necessary to make a
difference to the youth of the state.He will visit all 30 districts of the state to get understanding of
the initiatives in ground level and will submit his recommendations
based on which, a detailed programme will be worked out.Odisha Skill Development Authority aims to create momentum for
unemployed youth and provide them skill-based training to make them
employable.
