Kalahandi boy Anil Dash has made Odisha Proud. Anil Dash, an IT expert works for US President Barack Obama by looking after the Information and Technology (IT) in the White House in Washington. 
Anil Dash is best known in the tech world as a cultural curator, blogging evangelist, and one hell of PowerPoint Karaoke-er.

But six months ago, Dash left the blogging company Six Apart and took up the helm of a new initiative called Expert Labs. Working with the White House, and as part of the American Association for the Advancement of Science under a MacArthur Foundation grant, Dash is working to connect policymakers with the vast community of knowledge that lives on the web.
