Odisha Mao leader Sabyasachi Panda was admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur on Tuesday after his health condition deteriorated during his fast in circle jail.
Sabyasachi had been on an indefinite hunger strike from July 16 demanding to be apprised of the number of cases pending against him and speedy trial of his cases. As per doctors, water content and blood pressure in Sabyasachi’s body have declined.
He is the founder and leader of Odisha Maobadi Party (OMP) had launched hunger strike for the 3rd time in the jail since his arrest on 18th July, 2014.
